1. Acceptance and service scope
This End-User License Agreement governs access to and use of the PayTime software and related services made available through paytime.today and associated application interfaces.
By creating an account, accessing the service, or using any PayTime functionality, you agree to this agreement on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Limited license
Subject to compliance with this agreement and any applicable subscription terms, PayTime grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service for your internal business receivables and collections workflows.
This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the software, platform, underlying code, content, or service materials.
3. Permitted and prohibited use
You may use PayTime to connect supported accounting providers, review invoices, automate reminder sequences, manage account settings, and monitor payment-recovery activity for lawful business purposes.
You may not reverse engineer the service, interfere with platform security, misuse integrations, send unlawful or deceptive communications, scrape or copy protected service content, attempt unauthorized access, or use PayTime in a way that violates law, third-party terms, or the rights of customers, debtors, or other users.
4. Accounts and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, the security of your account credentials, the lawfulness of your communications, and the actions taken through your account.
You are also responsible for maintaining proper authority to connect QuickBooks, Xero, email, billing, and other third-party services that you authorize PayTime to access.
5. Third-party services and dependencies
PayTime depends on third-party providers and integrations, including hosting, email, billing, and accounting platforms. Availability, functionality, and data accuracy may depend in part on those providers and on the permissions you grant.
PayTime is not responsible for outages, API changes, delays, access restrictions, billing interruptions, or policy changes imposed by third-party providers such as Intuit QuickBooks, Xero, Stripe, Resend, Google, Supabase, or Cloudflare.
6. Fees, subscriptions, and free tier
Some PayTime features may be offered under a free tier or a paid subscription plan. Subscription pricing, billing terms, invoice limits, and feature access may be described on the website, in-product billing screens, or in checkout flows at the time of purchase.
If you purchase a paid subscription, you authorize recurring charges in accordance with the selected plan until cancellation or termination. Failure to pay may result in suspension, feature limitation, or termination of access.
7. No guarantee of collection outcomes
PayTime is a workflow and automation tool for receivables follow-up. It does not guarantee that any invoice will be paid, that a customer will respond, or that reminder sequences will produce a specific financial outcome.
You remain responsible for your credit decisions, customer relationships, escalation policies, accounting review, and legal or collections actions beyond the scope of the software.
8. Availability, maintenance, and suspension
PayTime may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time for maintenance, security, infrastructure changes, provider requirements, or product development reasons.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risks, suspected fraud, legal compliance needs, unpaid balances, or violations of this agreement.
9. Intellectual property
PayTime and its related software, branding, workflows, documentation, interface elements, and associated materials remain the property of PayTime and its licensors. Except for the limited access license described in this agreement, no rights are granted to you.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided on an as-available and as-provided basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. PayTime disclaims warranties, representations, and guarantees not expressly stated in this agreement, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PayTime will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or expected savings arising from or related to use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising out of the service or this agreement will not exceed the amount paid by you to PayTime for the service during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if no fees were paid, a nominal amount consistent with applicable law.
11. Termination
You may stop using the service or cancel your account at any time. PayTime may suspend or terminate access where this agreement is breached, where required by law, where security or abuse concerns arise, or where the service is no longer offered.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property protections, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions, will continue to apply after access ends.
12. Governing law and interpretation
This agreement will be interpreted in accordance with applicable law connected to the operation of the service and the business relationship between PayTime and the user, without creating any implication that PayTime is waiving rights to rely on a more specific jurisdiction or entity designation once formalized.
Until a final company entity and governing venue are designated, references to law, venue, and enforcement should be read in a commercially reasonable and service-protective manner consistent with applicable law.
